Privacy policy

This policy explains what QuizBuzzy stores when you use the public site or the dashboard. It was last updated on 8 October 2026.

What you can do here without an account

Reading pages does not ask you to create an account. A quiz lives inside a story. Submitting it does not ask for your name or email. We store which quiz it was and the score, so we can see which quizzes get played. We do not turn that into a public profile.

Contact form

If you write to us, we store the name, email address, and message you send, plus the time it arrived. We use that to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. You can ask us to delete it through the same form.

Dashboard

The dashboard is for the site operator. A successful login sets one cookie named qb. It is an httpOnly session cookie used only to keep that login active. It is not used to track readers of the public site.

Fonts

Pages load the Nunito typeface from Google Fonts. That request can share your IP address with Google. If that bothers you, a browser add-on that blocks third-party fonts will still leave the site readable.

Images and posts

Photos dropped into blog posts are stored on this server so the page can show them. Do not upload pictures of other people unless you have the right to publish them.

Cookies and ads

The public pages do not set tracking cookies and do not run advertising. Server logs may briefly hold IP addresses as part of ordinary hosting. We do not sell personal information.

Children

The site is written for a general audience. It is not directed at children under 13, and the contact form should not be used to send a child’s personal details.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it. Questions go to [email protected] or the contact page.
